Axion 2 XQ35 Thermal Monocular; with 1300 Meter Night Vision Detection Range
The Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Thermal Monocular offers the highest capability of night vision for amateur and professional users alike. The device is easy to grip and operate by right-handed and left-handed people due to the symmetrical design and in-line button arrangement on the upper panel. At a distance up to 1300 meters, you can safely observe events even in complete darkness - plus record video and/or picture images of untoward activity for example; gathering evidence of fly-tippers, vandalism, car theft, anti-social behaviour etc. The frost-resistant, high-contrast AMOLED display uses improved colour rendering and three levels of signal amplification in combination with a smoothing filter, brightness and contrast adjustments to give a super sharp image even in adverse weather conditions.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMPACT
Axion 2 XQ35 is fully waterproof to IPX7 rating and designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is strong and light and strong to reliably protect the internal components of a thermal imager from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics to reduce image noise and increase operation consistency during long-term observations.
DETECTION RANGE UP TO 1300 METERS IN COMPLETE DARK
The high-quality optics and thermal imaging sensor with a 12-micron pixel will help observe an object 1.8 meters high on distant approaches, up to 1300 meters (1420 yards) and is suitable for viewing wide areas, observing in motion or moving objects. The 'Picture in Picture' function activates an additional window at the top of the display, in which the central area of the observed scene is shown magnified 2 or 4 times. This makes it possible to combine the information content of a wide field of view with detailed observation of the selected object.
HIGH-QUALITY RENDERING OF TARGET OBJECTS AND BACKGROUND
A powerful Germanium F35/1.0 objective lens combined with a Lynred sensor with a resolution of 384 x 288 @ 17µm provides exceptional detection capabilities even under difficult observation conditions, such as rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity. Due to the high precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the sensor is distinguished for its superb clarity and detail for example; a standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected up to 1300 m away in complete darkness.
EXCELLENT BATTERY PERFORMANCE
A high-capacity APS 5 rechargeable battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The battery is removed from the XQ35 and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery can be recharged inside the device by connecting to a main's power or power bank via USB-C.
EIGHT COLOUR PALETTES
Allowing the user to observe their field of view more effectively, optimising the Axion 2 XQ35 for specific tasks, and reacting to changing conditions in the observation area. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are perfect for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine for recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet for night-time observation.
WIFI INTEGRATION WITH iOS | ANDROID
The built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi module connects the device with iOS and Android smartphones and is complemented with an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, a faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.
