Ballpoint Pen Live WiFi Audio And Recorder: with Remote WiFi Live Listening and Recording + Push Notifications
 
The Ballpoint Pen can be shown to write normally but is a surveillance gadget that combines voice-activated or continuous recording while remotely listening to the surrounding room environment from anywhere worldwide.  The clever part is that the pen connects to a home, office, or other WiFi network to negate messy SIM card signal issues.

SMARTPHONE APP FOR IOS AND ANDROID
The smartphone app is available in the Apple and Google Play Store and is the control hub for the product.  Through the app, you can listen (in real-time), playback audio recordings, download audio files, erase audio files, and adjust settings.
 
THE ADVANTAGE OF WIFI OVER GSM
Many similar products use mobile (cell) networks and require a SIM card to achieve remote listening/monitoring, which typically entails ongoing costs to ensure staying active and maintaining a reliable connection.  The pen achieves the same thing without the costs associated with GSM.  Of course, the pen needs to be located on premises with decent WiFi connectivity, for example, at your home studio or office - and, providing you are deploying for a lawful purpose, the opportunity to gather audio evidence can prove very valuable.
 
INTELLIGENT RECORDING MODES
This advanced audio recorder with live listening product can be set to record in response to sound (voice-activated) in 1 or 5-minute durations per activation or recorded constantly.  This means recording will commence and continue to record for the pre-programmed duration when sound is detected above the preset audio threshold level.
 
A push notification can also be sent to your smartphone, allowing you to launch the app and listen to what is happening in real-time.  Push notifications can be enabled or disabled in the app.  You also have the option to download individual recorded audio files for safekeeping or as evidence.
 
WIRE-FREE BATTERY POWERED SECURITY
The built-in rechargeable battery can power the pen for approx. 9 days standby time.  This is the maximum standby time based on the pen actively connected to a WiFi network but not recording or listening live.  The standby time will be reduced based on factors such as how often the pen is triggered to record, how often you launch the app to listen, and how often you download audio files.  Certainly, in a live environment, conservative use can achieve excellent usage for several days.
 
SD CARD AND OPTIONAL CLOUD STORAGE
The pen can accommodate up to 128 GB of SD card storage, which is enough to hold weeks of total audio recordings before you need to erase files remotely.  In addition, you can activate cloud storage through the app (not maintained by us) to remotely access your private files anytime, anywhere.

The pen is easy to set up and can be operational in 5 minutes.  There are no messy wiring or IP configurations, and we provide full step-by-step instructions.  Only a modern smartphone is required.
 
The Pen is ideal for monitoring live audio day and night.  It can record live audio based on preset sensitivity and push notifications to your smartphone for added security.
 
The Pen has a neutral appearance and can be visually inspected without revealing its surveillance capabilities.  It is easy to carry or leave behind on a desk, offering excellent recording and playback sound quality.
 
The Pen supports loop recording, which means older recordings can be overwritten when the storage is full.
 
HIDDEN SSID
When the pen connects to a WiFi network, no SSID is transmitted, thus remaining from discovery by 3rd parties searching for internet-connected devices.
 
NO WIFI?  NO PROBLEM!
If no WiFi network is available at the premises, consider purchasing a portable MiFi Dongle to provide a wireless 4G | 5G network to which the Pen can connect.  Read the 'More Information' tab for further details.
 
OPTIONAL 10'000 mAh POWER BANK

Note: A USB mains plug (not supplied) is needed to recharge the pen from mains power.  Alternatively, you can purchase a genuine Apple USB mains plug from the menu above.  A USB mains plug is not essential, as the pen can be charged through a computer, albeit at a slower rate.
