Atom Magnetic Voice Activation Recorder; with Long Standby and Recording Time
 
The Atom is a UK hand-built voice-activated recorder to capture incredible sound quality at distances of approx. 30 - 40 feet is easily one of the best sound recording devices available.  A single ON | OFF recording switch makes user operation very easy, and the magnetic neodymium base provides fast deployment to metal surfaces.

VOICE-ACTIVATED RECORDING
Fitted with one of the finest microphones, the Atom is extremely sensitive to audio and has been pre-set to record above a -50 dB sound level (standard room ambience).  When recording, the integrated Digital Noise Filter lowers background noise, for example, TV or Radio, to emphasise foreground conversations.
Audio files are automatically compressed as a single playable file and removed from irrelevant silent durations to keep the file system tidy and minimal without trawling through hundreds of separate audio files.
 
TIME AND DATE RECORDING
A time and date are stamped when the recording commences, providing evidence of an audio timeline.
 
NEW ENDURANCE MODEL
Catering to the demand of professionals seeking even longer recording times and superior sound resolution, the next generation Atom Endurance is fitted with a larger capacity battery of 3'950 mAh yet adds just 7 mm to the depth.  The new technology offers a pinnacle recording rate at 384 KBPS | 24 kHz for ultra-clear audio at even further distances and zero interference on file playback.  It is not an exaggeration that conversations can be picked up at 40 feet indoors and 30 feet outdoors.
 
The battery performance is further increased to approx. 17 days to surpass even the most advanced recorders.

The Endurance Atom stores audio files separately in a 24-hour format rather than a single compressed file.  This is traditionally how Law Enforcement prefers to time-stamp audio files for operational use.
 
The original Atom is suited for most individual and business users and provides excellent sound quality at a fantastic price.  Upgrading to the Atom Endurance reflects the improved recording time with pinnacle sound quality.
 
WINDOWS AND MAC COMPATIBLE
The Atom Recorders are compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.  No special software to playback audio files.  The Atom can be recharged by a computer or by mains power.
 
OPTIONAL EXTERNAL MICROPHONE
No other device on the market supports an internal microphone and an external microphone connector.  The uses of connecting an external microphone to the Atom are explained in the 'More Information' tab.
 
OPTIONAL POWER BANK
The Atom can be connected to a Power Bank (not supplied) to increase overall operation time.  The Power Bank we offer is 10'000 mAh, one of the smallest and lightest portable Power Banks for the capacity.  The Power Bank can also recharge smartphones and tablets and is a handy travel accessory.

Note: A USB mains plug (not supplied) is required to recharge the Atom from a mains power.  We offer a genuine Apple USB main's plug from the menu above.  You may also charge the Atom Recorder from a computer via the supplied USB cable; however, charging times will be longer.
