Smoke Alarm Voice Activated Recorder; with 75 Days Standby Time and 45 Hours Recording Time
 
This is a fully functional Smoke Alarm incorporated with a powerful digital voice activated recorder.  The Smoke Alarm operates normally from a single PP3 battery (supplied) whereas the recording mechanism functions separately, and provides up to 75 days standby time and 45 hours of voice activated recording time.
 
The Smoke Alarm is self contained without any wiring required.  Simply attach to any flat surface wall or ceiling within the environment you wish to surveillance - perhaps to capture an important meeting, interview, or dispute whenever the need arises.  Due to Smoke Alarm's generally occupying an aerial position it is out of reach from being tampered with.
 
AUDIO ACTIVATED RECORDING
The recording mechanism can be started / stopped by a single push button.  Once activated, recordings will commence when the microphone detects audio above a preset threshold within 25 feet of the unit.  Each recorded audio file is saved in MP3 format to an internal four (4) GB flash memory - which is enough capacity to store a total of 144 hours of audio.
 
Voice activation preserves a longer battery life because recording is only triggered when sounds are detected, thus eliminating long silences and capturing only relevant audio.
An intelligent auto save function automatically stores the recorded audio once the battery drains without losing any important data.
 
To play back audio files simply remove the protected recording module from inside the Smoke Alarm and connect to your Windows or Mac computer via the supplied USB cable.  Alternatively, you can recharge the recording module via the supplied USB mains plug.  Recordings can also be stored to your computer, archived or emailed to other recipients.
