NO WIFI?  NO PROBLEM.
The iDock Charger will also work straight out of the box as a self-recording motion-activated surveillance camera - without a WiFi network connection.  When activity is detected, video recording will commence, automatically storing recorded footage to an SD card inside the iDock.  No special software is required to playback the footage.  A Windows or Mac computer or other SD card media player will work fine.  A time and date and clear audio accompanies recorded files.

ULTRA LOW IR CAMERA LENS
The iDock has an embedded low-light IR (infra-red) that automatically activates to produce a brighter screen lighting display when the room ambience changes, for example, when natural light diminishes as the night draws in.  The camera can monitor events and record motion detection in the most challenging room conditions.  Please note this does not mean a completely lights-out darkened room environment.
