TIME AND DATE RECORDINGS
The Deluxe Pen now comes with easy-to-use software that gives you the option to stamp each audio file with the time and date of when the file was created.  The supplied software for Windows computers is super easy to use.
 
ADJUSTABLE SOUND QUALITY
The software will also adjust the audio quality between PCM (highest 44 kHz quality) and XHQ (extra high quality), and HQ (high quality).  The lower setting (HQ) will draw less power when recording and is best suited to confined areas like a vehicle.  The higher PCM setting is best used when recording in larger rooms, or you want stunningly clear audio.
 
ADJUSTABLE SVOS LEVEL
Use the software to adjust the microphone sensitivity.  For example: lowering the sensitivity of the microphone reduces triggering the recording of unnecessary sounds like a cough, passing traffic or a creaking door.  Increasing the microphone sensitivity will heighten the pen's detection capability.
 
ON-DEMAND AND VOICE ACTIVATION RECORDING
2x recording modes:
 
Record 'On-Demand' (manual) - carry the pen out of sight - in a pocket or leave it casually on a desk.  Start and stop recording any time under natural body movement.  With 24 hours of recording time, it's a perfect surveillance product for capturing audio continuously.
 
Voice Activated Recording - place the pen inside a room or a vehicle (or any indoor environment), and it is ready to record when sound is detected - for up to 30 days!  If you believe somebody is entering your property while you are absent, or perhaps you need to capture the highest audio of an upcoming event - then voice-activation is a must.
 
CONNECT TO COMPUTER FOR SUPER LONG RECORDING
When the pen is recording and connected to a computer, it can record continuously for 288 hours until its 8 GB storage memory is full.  Or, put the pen into voice-activation mode to extend the standby time to many weeks or months!
 
SUPER SENSITIVE MICROPHONE
The pen records each audio file in MP3 format @ 44 kHz (PCM) for a superior and clear sound than ever before.  Furthermore, the built-in ALC automatically balances sound for a perfect audio level.

WINDOWS AND MAC COMPATIBLE
The pen can connect to any Windows or Mac computer.  You can play audio files and recharge the pen on any computer; however, if you wish to use the supplied software to set the time and date and adjust the sound and microphone level, these actions can only be done on a Windows computer.
The pen's 8 GB memory can be used as a Mass Storage Device for holding spreadsheets like Excel, Word, Powerpoint or photos, documents, videos etc.
